The Grand River Conservation Authority is asking everyone to reduce their water consumption by 10 percent.
GRCA - Rising temperatures seem to be impacting local water resources in the Grand River watershed.
Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a Level 1 Water Conservation Alert.
Everyone is being asked to reduce water consumption by 10 percent. This includes municipalities, aggregate operations, golf courses, water bottlers, farmers and private users.
The alert follows findings that stream flows are below average despite higher than normal precipitation across much of the watershed this summer.
