Team Members at Toyota Boshoku in Woodstock have put in an effort to support the community. They raised a total of $5,610 for the United Way of Oxford. "Toyota Boshoku has been a participant in the campaign for a couple of years now, but this is a really generous gift. We really want to applaud the employees for their generosity because they have been very generous. And of course the corporate support as well," said Gilson. Maintenance Team Member at the plant Patty Bolschetschenkl took the lead gathering donations. "I just recruited all of my Maintenance Team Members and anyone who was on the floor and in the vicinity or needed my assistance for any equipment fixes. It's for a great cause, the money stays in the community which is very important," said Bolschetschenkl. "We live by eight guiding principles, one of which is giving back to the community. So when we hire people we tell them we'll expect you to give back, and they do," said Senior Manager of Human Resources at Boshoku Gloria Chrisholm.
