SWPH is opening up who is able to get their next round of Covid-19 and flu shots as RSV season ramps up.
OXFORD COUNTY - A wider range of people can now get Covid-19 and flu shots.
Southwestern Public Health had the first doses, which were given to those who are in priority populations and those at high risk of severe complications from a respiratory infection. Public Health says now it is time for others living in the communities to be able to get their shots.
Public health has limited appointments available only for children 6 months to 5 years old (and their families) who are unable to receive their vaccination at a local pharmacy. Those bookings can be made by clicking here, and the flu shot bookings are available through this link.
Public health will be offering Covid-19 vaccination clinics throughout the community for the general public, and no appointments are necessary. Also, while supplies last, the influenza vaccine (NO high dose) will be offered. To find a list of clinics, dates and times click here.
