Oxford County residents in Ingersoll, Embro and some rural routes in Zorra Township are being told to leave their garbage out. Employee's will still be out collecting garbage until the early evening as they try to catch up.
OXFORD COUNTY - If your garbage was not collected today in Oxford County, leave it out.
Here is a statement from the County about the matter:
"Waste collection in some communities will last into the early evening today until around 7:00 p.m. If your waste hasn’t been collected yet, please leave it out. Affected communities are Ingersoll north of Bell Street and west of Thames Street, Embro, and some rural routes in Zorra Township.
Thank you for your patience on this first day of collection with our new contractor."
Please note this message was meant for Monday May 4, 2020 and the garbage should be collected before 8:00 pm this evening.
