A woman originally from South West Oxford will be heading up the Future Oxford Partnership.
What started out as a group of local volunteers looking to make a difference in the community has turned into a huge sustainability plan for Oxford County.
The Future Oxford Partnership has officially hired Miranda Fuller as the lead developer and advocate of the Future Oxford Community Sustainability Plan. Fuller is a Wilfrid Laurier graduate who is originally from South West Oxford and will take on the role of program director for Future Oxford. She tells Heart FM she was blown away when she saw some of the amazing things Oxford is hoping to accomplish with their sustainability plan.
"Look at what everyone is doing in the County and we have so many fantastic initiatives already happening and to really bring them together to present a completely collaborated Oxford County, having the plan and having the targets in mind. It is very exciting for me to see what Oxford County is achieving right now and what it will achieve in the future."
Fuller will be on hand to greet the community at the Future Oxford Expo on Thursday January 28th.
