You'll be able to pick up a Halloween costume at Cowan Park this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
WOODSTOCK - October is here and that means Halloween is right around the corner.
The Friendly Ghost Costume Stop is back for another year and will take place at Cowan Park on Saturday. Organizer, Sarah Allen says there is one main goal for this event.
"The reason we do it isn't necessarily because you can't afford a costume. It's because costumes are really expensive, and you only use a costume typically once unless it is a princess dress."
Allen mentions the event is for everyone and if you need a costume this is the place to come.
"We go all the way from baby, all the way right up to adult-sized costumes. We can definitely use donations of costumes. I tend to get a lot of smaller kid costumes, but we can definitely use the bigger costumes."
Donations can be dropped off at Little Caesars in Woodstock, and if you donate a costume you will get a coupon for free crazy bread.
The Friendly Ghost Costume Stop will run from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
