Our local MPP is offering up a few options to help escape the typical March Break boredom.
OXFORD COUNTY - Families in Oxford County can take advantage of some free skates this March Break that will be hosted by our local MPP.
Ernie Hardeman is inviting people the free skates in Tillsonburg on Wednesday and he will be in Ingersoll and Woodstock on Thursday. Hardeman says they have been doing these family skates for a number of years now and often times it is a great place for people to come out and ask some questions.
"We get a lot of questions around the discussions in Toronto, what they are reading and what the Government is doing and what is happening in Toronto, that's the type of questions we typically get, what's going on with the government. It is also a time when people can talk about a personal problem that maybe we can help with, it's a great time for them to ask, it might not have been serious enough to call us but know that your here, can I bend your ear for just a minute."
The first skate is on Wednesday from 2:30 – 4:00 PM at the Kinsmen Memorial Arena in Tillsonburg. Two will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:45 AM at the Ingersoll District Memorial arena and then in Woodstock at the Community Complex from 2:15 to 3:45 PM.
