Brant OPP are hosting a free seminar for local seniors to help protect themselves from frauds and scams.
PARIS - The Brant OPP are hosting a free presentation for local seniors to help protect them against fraud.
The presentation will be held at the County of Brant Fire administration building in Paris on Thursday June 8th at 7:00 p.m. Seniors are invited to come out and learn how to protect themselves from fraud. Loved ones are also encouraged to attend as the presentation will offer tips on how you can protect your parents or grandparents from becoming a victim.
Don't become a statistic. Fraud is a multi-billion dollar enterprise that will only stop when the scammers stop getting money, banking information or personal information. The best thing to do is to simply hang up the phone.
