The Oxford County OPP is investigating after two separate reports of fraud happened in the County.
OXFORD COUNTY - A pair of frauds are under investigation in Oxford County.
Yesterday, the OPP was notified about a Bitcoin fraud that saw a resident of Zorra Township lose over $200,000. Also yesterday, officers were notified about a scam involving Apple Pay cards, which saw a resident of Tillsonburg lose an estimated $40,000. The OPP says the two frauds are not connected, but they both involved fraudsters asking for payment in non-traditional ways.
