Four exceptional people will be recognized for their dedication to Rotary's guiding principle, 'service above self.'
WOODSTOCK - Four members of the community will be honoured at the Woodstock Quality Hotel and Suites on June 27th. The Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club is honouring Kathy Stephenson, David Hilderly, Dave Steenburg and the late Bill Gillespie.
Past president Chris Cunningham explains why the club is shining a light these seniors.
"One of the things that all of these seniors share is their selflessness and passion for making a difference in our community. Woodstock Rotary Club prides itself on service above self and we really feel this is reflected in what the seniors are doing."
The Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club's luncheon will start at 12 p.m. and the public recognition will begin before 1 p.m.
