Two people were busted during a RIDE check in Innerkip, one driver crashed in Norwich, another was driving erratic in Tillsonburg and the other was leaving a disturbance.
Five people were arrested on impaired driving charges in Oxford County over the weekend
Two people were arrested during a RIDE spot check in Innerkip. The RIDE program was set up around 8:00 pm on George Street Saturday night. A 26 year old from Kitchener and a 20 year old from Baden were both arrested and charged with impaired driving.
Another impaired driver was charged following a single vehicle crash in Norwich Township. The vehicle went into the ditch on Towerline Road early Saturday evening. A 57 year old from Oshawa was charged.
A 38 year old was arrested after leaving a disturbance in East Zorra Tavistock on Sunday morning just before 2. Police say the person was having a verbal dispute with someone at the home and then got in a car to drive away. Officers picked them up a short while later and charged them with impaired driving.
A 58 year old from London was arrested after police noticed an erratic driver on Goshen Street in Tillsonburg. The arrest was made just before midnight on Sunday.
