Multiple Police divisions were involved in a drug investigation. Warrants were executed and seized drugs, weapons, electronics and cash.
LONDON - Five people have been arrested and charged in a drug investigation.
Multiple Police Services were involved in the case, including Woodstock Police and Oxford OPP's Community Street Crime Unit.
On Tuesday (January 9th) at 9:15 a.m. officers executed five warrants at homes and vehicles in Wallaceberg, London, Middlesex County, Woodstock and Tillsonburg, resulting in drugs, weapons, electronics, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and cash being seized.
The estimated value of the drugs is $194,000.
As a result of the executed warrants, 5 people are now facing charges.
44-year-old Mark McClintock of Tillsonburg faces a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking (Methamphetamine).
38-year-old Amy-Sue Labbe of Woodstock is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine), and possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl).
41-year-old Michael Ketchabaw of Woodstock is faced with possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine), and possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl).
30-year-old Saron Shah of London has charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine), possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl), possession for the purpose of trafficking (Methamphetamine), possession of prohibited device or ammunition, fail to comply with release order, and possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
39-year-old Sergio Mendez-Vargas of London faces charges of, possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine), possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl), and possession for the purpose of trafficking (Methamphetamine).
They all remain in custody pending bail hearings.
The investigation also remains ongoing at this time.
