Woodstock Fire fighters were kept busy yesterday with a pair of fires. The first happened around 1:30 Friday afternoon with a garage fire that caused 30 thousand dollars in damage at Huron and Devonshire. The second happened late in the evening when a dryer caught on fire at Coin Laundry on Dundas Street. Patrons tried to put out the fire themselves, but fire officials were needed to take the burning clothing out of the machine and extinguish them in the parking lot. There is no estimated cost of damage at this time.
