ONTARIO - It has been a busy few weeks for the West Region OPP.
Since the Festive RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) campaign officially launched on November 16th, a total of 730 RIDE programs have been held across the region.
Over 120 impaired driving charges have been laid, and 14 warning range suspensions have been issued. We have reached out to the Oxford OPP to see how many of those drivers were in our community.
The Festive RIDE campaign is ongoing and it will run until January 1st.
*CAMPAIGN UPDATE* The OPP #FestiveRIDE campaign continues across West Region. Over 120 drivers are facing criminal charges since the campaign began on November 16th. Get home safely this holiday season. ^dr pic.twitter.com/bQCJFGXGw7
