A collision between a train and a pedestrian has resulted in a lost life.
INGERSOLL - A pedestrian has lost their life after a collision with a VIA rail train in Ingersoll.
Oxford OPP and fire service were called out to the area of McKeand Street at approximately 7:41 p.m. on Friday. Emergency services pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene due to the injuries.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
Update (Mon June 6th 10:57 a.m.) - Oxford OPP have identified the deceased as 18 year old Brittany Bergsma of Ingersoll.
