Imperial Road is currently closed between Lyons Line and Mapleton Line after a fatal collision this morning in Malahide Township.
UPDATE: Police have identified the deceased as 18 year old Mya Klassen.

ELGIN COUNTY - One person has died after a fatal head on collision on Imperial Road in Malahide Township.
Police say a motor vehicle collided with a transport this morning around 5:19. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the transport was not injured.
The identity of the deceased is not being released pending notification to next of kin.
West Region OPP traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team continue to investigate. Imperial Road is currently closed between Lyons Line and Mapleton Line. The closure is anticipated to last for the next 6 hours.
