A London man dies as a result of a two vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP -- A London man died as a result of a crash in Zorra Township Sunday afternoon.
55 year-old Andrezej Kloc was killed when a westbound Chevrolet vehicle crossed the centre lane on the 19th Line at Road 64 and struck his motorcycle head on.
Kloc was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries and was later released.
Police had the 19th Line closed for several hours and say their investigation is ongoing.
70 year-old George Pickering of Zorra Township has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death and Causing Death by Criminal Negligence.
OPP say their investigation is ongoing and they are appealing for any witnesses who attended the scene to provide assistance and have not spoken to police already to be call them at 519-485-6554. They are looking to speak with a female who identified herself as a nurse, believed to be in her 20’s, with long brown hair, who arrived on the scene and assisted prior to police arrival on the scene. This unknown female Good Samaritan had a brief conversation with at least one OPP member on the scene.
