Police say a portion of the 402 remains closed this morning after a fatal transport truck crash on Monday.
UPDATE: The westbound slow lane of Highway 402 has now been re-opened.
The fast lane and both eastbound lanes of the HIghway will remain closed until later this afternoon after a fatal crash this morning. The collision involved a transport truck carrying fuel tanks. Both tanks were ruptured and a specialized response team from the City of London Fire Department hazardous goods team was called in for the cleanup.

The 402 remains closed this morning after a fatal transport truck collision.
The Middlesex OPP were initially called out to the scene of the crash on Monday, October 10 around 7:30 a.m.
The transport truck involved was carrying ethanol and diesel fuel when it left the road and rolled over the centre median. The driver, 28-year-old Jagjit Singh DEOL from Brampton, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
Both fuel tanks on the transport were ruptured and the City of London Fire Department hazardous goods team arrived at the scene to secure the loads.
According to police the investigation is ongoing and both lanes of the 402 remain closed between Colonel Talbot Road and the 401.
Drivers must plan alternate routes.
