More than 40,000 people expected to attend again this year
WOODSTOCK - The latest in agriculture innovation and technology is on display in Woodstock.
The 21st Canada's Outdoor Farm Show opens at 8:30 Tuesday morning with the official grand opening slated for 10am.
Farm Show Team Lead Stephanie Nagelschmitz recommends getting to the show early.
"There's a lot of grand to cover. Everything from skid steer ride and drives, the Nuhn Lagoon Crawler or any of our livestock demonstrations. It will be a jam packed day and probably worth even making two days if you have the time."
Nagelschmitz says there are a few new exhibit this year.
"Our high speed corn planting demonstration through Vaderstad showcasing their new tempo planter. We also have a brand new Danish pavilion which is bringing livestock technology from seven different companies straight from Denmark here to Canada and that can be found near Middle Machinery Mall."
Nagelschmitz says they have been really fortunate with all of the support over the years.
"We are now at the point where we are one of the largest, if not the largest farm show in the country. We are hoping to hit about 40,000 attendees once again and anything above that will just be outstanding."
Nagelschmitz reminds residents they do have a smart phone app that will help you plan out your visit which can be found at www.outdoorfarmshow.com .
The farm show runs Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am - 5pm at 744906 Oxford Rd 17 at the corner of the 11th Line.
