Woodstock Art Gallery is putting on an event for all families this Family Day.
WOODSTOCK - You can spend your Family Day with the Woodstock Art Gallery.
Families can look forward to an exciting day filled with activities on February 18th.
WAG Communications Coordinator Erin Beacroft says it's an exciting day for everyone.
"It's going to be an amazing day, it is always an amazing day. I know we have snacks usually provided by the Children's Air Society, healthy snacks."
Beacroft says they'll be organizing a variety of activities that parents and their children can do in the Friendly City.
"We have our 9:30am movie, which will be at the Gallery Cinemas, which is on 15 Perry Street. You can only purchase tickets through the Woodstock Art Gallery, they're $7.00. We won't know what the movie is until about a week before, Gallery Cinemas does an amazing job making sure we get the most recent children's film. And then after the movies, you can go the Woodstock Art Gallery from 11:00am to 1:00pm for a creative drop-in and just come and make some wonderful stuff with your family."
"And then you can also go across the street to the Museum and they're going to have a drop-in as well, and I believe they're opening up their new expansion they just made, their renovations. And then from 1:00pm to 3:00pm you can then just pop over to Theatre Woodstock and get a behind the scenes of how they do productions. And then wrap it up from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, you can head to Goff Hall and play some board games and hang out with other families."
A majority of the activities will be free. It will cost only $7.00 to see the movie.
