The Kids Coaching Connection Program is a one of a kind program which has been fully approved by the International Coaching Federation.
The Kids Coaching Connection Program has been helping children and families around the world for about a decade now. It has been fully approved by the International Coaching Federation, which makes it one of a kind.
Program Creator Susan Howson explains how it benefits children.
"It supports them in learning what their gifts are, what their talents are. Being able to speak about things they may be uncomfortable with, to look at what their emotional state is, how they are feeling about certain things. To be able to express that, it helps them be all they can be in the world."
Howson tells Heart FM how the program has been successful over the years.
"There are testimonials from youth that have taken the program; they talk about how it has changed their life. From parents who have taken the program because it teaches parents the kinds of questions to ask kids and how to develop deeper relationships with their kids."
This summer there will also be two summer institutes for the program at the ALT Hotel in Toronto. Those who participate in the week long institutes will get to learn more about trust, communication and meaningful connections. The first institute will take place from July 11th to the 15th while the second will be from August 8th to the 13th. It costs $495 plus HST to register, $247 plus HST for full time students.
