We can expect wind chill values close to minus 30 tonight and tomorrow.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's a bitterly cold Blue Monday in Oxford County.
Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning because we can expect wind chill values close to minus 30 tonight and tomorrow morning.
This may cause shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, as well as numbness and colour change in your fingers and toes.
You should bundle up in warm layers if you have to go outside and the outer layer should be wind resistant. If you work outside, make sure you take regularly scheduled breaks so you can warm up.
Pets should not be left outside for extended periods of time. If it is too cold you for outside, it is too cold for your pet.
