Oxford OPP say a woman threatened to share intimate photos and videos of a man if he didn't pay up.
BLANDFORD BLENHEIM - Oxford OPP are investigating an extortion case in Blandford Blenheim.
Police were contacted by a resident at 4:39 p.m. yesterday.
They say a man and a woman met online before explicit photos and videos were exchanged.
A demand for money was then made by the woman, in which she threatened to send the images to the man's family and social media contacts.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says you should think twice before hitting send.
"Police are urging all computer users to be aware of the dangers of engaging in online web chats where explicit conversations and photographs are shared. Once it's out there, you can't get it back."
