The recent run of no bus days in Oxford County has had impact on exams for high school students.
OXFORD COUNTY - The no bus days have wreaked havoc on the exam schedules at High Schools in the Thames Valley District School Board.
Students who had exams scheduled for Thursday, will now have to take them on Monday. Superintendent of Student Achievement Karen Edgar says there are multiple places to find out if your exams have been postponed.
"It is on the individual school web site and the Principals also have something called School Messenger and have used School Messenger to send out information to parents and students who have signed up for it."
Edgar says the School Board did plan ahead to make sure there were extra days to take exams in the case of no bus days.
"Schools have always anticipated bus cancellations because with January exams, we are at the mercy of the weather. Schools do have plans for 1 cancelled day or 2 cancelled days. We have been flexible in moving our schedules around and trying to give students as much notice as possible about double up exam days and so on."
