Ernie Hardeman is throwing his support behind Christine Elliott ahead of the May 9th leadership vote.
The Ontario Tories have a big decision next month as they will decide on a new leader to replace Tim Hudak.
Only two candidates are left for the top spot in the party - MPP for Whitby Oshawa Christine Elliott and Federal MP for Barrie Patrick Brown.
Oxford County MPP Ernie Hardeman is throwing his support behind Elliott. He tells Heart FM he believes she has the best chance to beat the Liberals and Kathleen Wynne in the next election. Hardeman says he has worked with Elliott for several years at Queen's Park and served with her husband for a quite a number of years. He feels she is the best qualified to lead the Conservatives back into power.
The leadership vote takes place on May 9th.
