Six students and two adults suffered non-life threatening injuries during a three vehicle collision involving a school bus
THAMES CENTRE - Six kids and two adults were treated for non-life threatening injuries after a crash involving a school bus.
Yesterday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. a school bus travelling southbound on Nissouri Road turned east at Evelyn Drive. A dump truck heading north on Nissouri walloped the passenger side of the bus, pushing the bus into a westbound black SUV waiting at the stop sign.
The six students on the bus were all transported to hospital by EMS. The driver of the bus was airlifted by Ornge, and the driver of the SUV also went to the hospital. All injuries are being reported as non-life threatening.
The road was closed for around two and a half hours while the vehicles were removed.
An investigation is underway.

Police have now charged the driver of the bus with left turn - fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid collision
