The Beachville Museum is teaming up with the Beachville Parks and Recreation Committee to host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 8th.
BEACHVILLE - The Beachville Parks and Recreation Committee and Beachville Museum will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at the museum.
Curator Dr. Stephanie Radu says while the kids hunt for eggs on Saturday April 8th, there will be plenty for the parents to do as well.
"The barn will be open for people to come and have hot beverages and check out some raffle prizes and some Easter activities. So, if it does get a little bit rainy the barn offers some shelter for doing the activities and having some snacks and drinks after you've done your hunt."
Radu says the event goes from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and eggs will continue to be hidden throughout that period.
"We have people coming in waves and that allows people to join right at the start or right at the end. We don't run out of chocolate treats so if you're slower to start with the family in the morning don't hesitate to still come closer to the 2:00 p.m. finish time."
The event is free but there will be fundraising for the Parks and Recreation Committee through a raffle with donated prizes from local businesses.
Radu says guests should bring a basket and a camera to capture the fun, and that all are welcome to check out the museum as well.
