We're in for above seasonal temperatures for the next few weeks.
OXFORD COUNTY - Fall is here and the forecast is looking good.
Environment Canada Weather Media Spokesperson, Alexandra Courmoyer says we can expect above seasonal temperatures for the first bit.
"So, looking at the temperature for this week of September. So, what we're what we're having in the forecast for this week is good probabilities of temperature that will be above normal. So, the normal right now in the southern portion of Ontario are about 19, 20 degrees."
She adds the first two weeks of October could get above seasonal temperatures, but when it hits mid-October the temperatures will come back to normal, which is 14 to 15 degrees. Courmoyer also speaks to the conditions that could be seen during fall.
"We could see some weeks that would be wetter than normal and some weeks that could be drier than normal. So, kind of a little, a little difference from one week to the other. But in general, if we mix all of this, it should be near normal."
She adds it is tougher to get a full outlook on the forecast when it comes to precipitation because a big rain shower or thunder storm can change the entire forecast.
