A special E-Waste Collection will help the Burgessville Santa Claus Parade committee maintain their decorations.
BURGESSVILLE - A special E Waste Collection Day will help light Burgessville up with festive cheer.
The Santa Claus Parade Committee will be collecting everything from computer components to fax machines.
Committee member Ruth Storey says the proceeds will help them maintain some of their Christmas decorations.
"We have some repairs, we already have a number of streetlights up, snowflakes lights up in Burgessville, but some of them need to be repaired and we already have a spot for two more sets of lights so we'd like to add on to that."
The collection will be happening on Burgess Street beside the Fire Hall Friday April 28th from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
They will also be collecting used clothing for Cerebral Palsy.
