Dog emerged from ditch before biting local resident.
A dog bite in Drumbo is cause for concern for a local resident.
On Thursday last week, at around 10:30 p.m., two men were walking their dogs on Wilmot St. in the village.
A medium-sized, dark, shaggy looking dog emerged from the ditch and attacked one of the dogs and ended up biting one of the men.
Public health is looking to see if anyone owns, or knows of the dog in question in hopes of avoiding rabies treatments for the man who was bitten.
Info can be called into Manuel de Freitas at Oxford County Public Health at 519-539-9800, ext. 3417.
