A 30 year old man from Oxford County is facing stunt driving and impaired charges after getting stopped by police in Delhi.
DELHI - A 30 year old man from Oxford County is facing stunt driving and impaired charges after getting stopped by police in Delhi.
Norfolk OPP say they stopped the man for speeding on Saturday night on King Street in Delhi. After investigating they charged the man with impaired driving on top of a stunt driving charge. Police allege the man was doing more than 50km/hr over the posted speed limit while he was impaired.
OPP are reminding all motorists that the minimum fine for Stunt Driving, if convicted is $2,000 and an automatic drivers licence suspension for 7 days. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe, Ontario at a later date to answer to the charges.
