WFD on scene of fire at Market Square.
Quick response from the Woodstock Fire department may have prevented major damage at Market Square and City Hall this morning.
Woodstock Fire responded to the scene where the hydro vaults had caught fire at Market Square. The vaults, which extend into City Hall, were quickly extinguished preventing any major damage to the buildings.
In the meantime, power has been shut down in the area which affects traffic lights at Dundas and Wellington and surrounding areas.
