Students from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry will go to Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
OXFORD COUNTY - Discovery Week is coming back to Oxford County.
Starting the week of May 27th students from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry will go to Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. This is the 26th anniversary of Discovery Week.
During the week, the students will experience the teamwork and collaboration used in a rural/regional site, along with the opportunities to discover all the communities offer.
There will be 8 students who will become temporary members of the Ingersoll and Tillsonburg communities, and through this program, they will get a fulsome experience of what a day in the life of a local healthcare provider looks like in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.
