Clean up crews remain on scene after a jackknifed tractor trailer caused a diesel spill west of Beachville yesterday.
BEACHVILLE - No injuries are reported after a transport truck jackknifed in the Beachville area.
OPP Constable Adam Crewsdon says emergency services were called out to the scene by Foldens Line and Road 66 yesterday afternoon.
"In the course of the jackknifing incident it did catch up on the guard rail and as such diesel had spilled out of the truck."
The Ministry of the Environment has been notified. Crewdson adds the area is still closed off for cleanup.
"That's just going to be north of Beachville Road on Foldens Line. You can still go east to west on Beachville but as soon as you go to the intersection you can't go north. As well, the road is closed off at Foldens at the roundabout to southbound traffic."
The area should remain closed for the rest of today and possibly into tomorrow.
