WOODSTOCK - It is likely going to be another week before Devonshire reopens between Lansdowne and Woodall in Woodstock.
The main construction finished a few weeks ago with the road painting done on both sides. The road is still closed however as crews are waiting for Hydro One to some work for the traffic signals. This is supposed to take place next week.
The expectation (barring any unforeseen circumstances) is that the road will be opened by the long weekend.
Residents who live in the area are getting annoyed with the construction as they only have one exit out because Cardinal is blocked. Heart FM has heard from a few people on the street who are worried that it is getting dangerous for the kids that live on Dunkirk.
