The 50/50 tickets are one for $10 or three for $25.
OXFORD COUNTY - Domestic Abuse Services Oxford (DASO) will be holding a 50/50 draw this month in honour of its 50th anniversary.
It starts on Tuesday and tickets will be one for $10 or three for $25. Fundraising and Communications Coordinator Sophie Foster says they're only selling physical tickets for this fundraiser and you can find them at four locations across the county.
"In Woodstock, you can purchase tickets at Whisk & Roll Bakery and Roberts and Co. You can also buy them at Roberts in Co in Ingersoll and we have Betty's Marketplace in Tillsonburg."
Businesses interested in selling tickets can e-mail Foster at sophie@daso.ca to set something up. Those who want to buy tickets from home can also send an e-mail to that address.
Foster says all of the money raised will be going to a good cause.
"We're a 17-bed emergency shelter, so we offer a crisis line and we work to help women and children escape abusive situations and offer emergency services."
