At least he didn't have to wait long for an ambulance to arrive.
Nobody was seriously injured after a crash between a cyclist and an ambulance in Perth County.
OPP say the collision happened on Highway 8 between Stratford and Sebringville around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. The cyclist was wearing dark clothing and did not have lights or reflectors on his bike. Police say the ambulance driver noticed the cyclist at the last minute and tried to swerve out of the way but was unable to do so.
The cyclist did end up going to the hospital with non life threatening injuries and has since been released. He was charged with improper bicycle lighting and being intoxicated in a public place.
