People in Oxford are getting ready to hurry hard for the kids at Big Brothers, Big Sisters
Professional and amateur curlers out there can still sign up for Curl for Kids Sake in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg. Registration is in full swing for the fundraiser in Ingersoll on February 4th and in Tillsonburg on February 11th. Deb Landon, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters says there will be a lot of fun in store on both days.
"It's two six-end games and that includes lunch, prizes for everyone, and there's special draws that we do throughout the day."
Landon tells Heart FM each team of four can collect pledges.
"You can pay an entry fee yourself, its $500 per team, but we encourage people to get pledges. We have many teams that are sponsored as well by local businesses that want to support the organization but don't have the staff or the time to come."
