If your child has an interest in baking and a love for cupcakes, Woodstock Parks and Rec is offering the perfect summer program for them.
WOODSTOCK - The city of Woodstock is offering two cupcake classes for aspiring young bakers.
Kids between the ages of 8 and 12 will be baking the dessert from scratch.
Supervisor of Parks and Rec Emma Vondervoort says they have two sessions coming up this summer.
"We are offering it on Thursday July 26th and then it's offered again on Thursday August 9th. Both are at 6 p.m. for an hour and a half and the program is $20."
Vondervoort says they will also have fun decorating them.
"Last time they made beach cupcakes so they generally kind of theme it. They learn some piping skills and different fun decorating skills for the cupcakes."
