TILLSONBURG - A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on the 2 South in-patient unit.
There are currently 5 patients involved in the outbreak who have tested positive for the virus. TDMH is taking the following measures due to the outbreak, based on the advice from Southwestern Public Health:
- Surveillance COVID testing of all inpatients.

'We want to reassure the public that our precautions, practices, and protocols to address COVID-19 within the hospital continue to be followed carefully. Our goal is to curb transmission within the hospital as well as protecting the health and safety of our community."
Visitors will only be allowed at the hospital for compassionate grounds at the 2S inpatient unit. Visiting restrictions also remain in place for all other units of the hospital.
Alexandra Hospital also remains in outbreak, that was first declared on January 3rd.
