WOODSTOCK - Oxford County council has endorsed the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund Formula based funding contribution agreement.
It states the County will receive just under $4.5 million dollars to assist with their critical infrastructure needs from 2017 until 2019. CAO for the County Peter Crockett says this is a standard agreement.
"The money that we are going to get for infrastructure over the next couple of years, and it's just an agreement that allows us to access the funding that we will get over the formula that we have created."
The money can be used for capital projects like roads, water, and waste water projects.
