A beautiful mixed trail run in Roth Park will be raising money once again for the Canadian Cancer Society.
The run known as Cool Runnings features a 1K, 5 K, and 10 K course so Hailey Parliment with the Canadian Cancer Society says it's really open for all runners.
"The 1k is our kid's fun run - it's about 800 metres and they go through the finish line and do a bit of the trail, a little bit of cement, and parents are welcome to do it with them."
All of the money raised will be going to support the work of the Canadian Cancer Society. If you sign up before October 15th you will also save $5 on the cost of registration.
Registration is available at the Canadian Cancer Society's Oxford County Branch, online, or in person on the day of.
