NORWICH - Construction has started on Stover Street N or Highway 59 in the Village of Norwich.
A planned detour is happening on Quaker Street. Motorists are being reminded to slow down and please respect the people who live on Quaker Street. Many of them have small children who like to play out side. Heart FM has already heard from a number of residents in the Village about people speeding through the detour.
The work being done on Stover Street includes the sewer repairs/excavation, repairs to the municipal sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems and restoration of disturbed areas.
Residents within the work area can expect both planned and unplanned water interruptions during construction. They will make an attempt to notify customers in advance.
