The construction should last about three months, weather depending.
OXFORD COUNTY - Punkeydoodles Corners is getting some much needed upgrades.
Set to begin the week of July 29th, the improvements will include creating one main intersection with additional turning lanes and street lighting.
Manager of Transportation and Waste Management Services Frank Gross explains the timeline we should be expecting.
"We expect will take approximately three months looking at completion sometime in November and that's obviously weather dependent as well, so if we have good weather it'll be completed somewhere in October, November."
The area will be restricted to immediate local traffic and the contractor will be collecting the garbage of those affected and putting it in a designated pickup area.
