Walker Environmental has submitted their amended terms of reference to the Ministry of Environment.
Locals now have 30 days to comment on Walker Environmental's amended Terms of Reference.
The revised document was sent off to the Ministry of Environment earlier this week.
Director of Strategic Growth at Walker Environmental Darren Fry says "that amendment comprises of approximately a three page addendum that provides additional clarification and commitment on how Walker will undertake this environmental assessment."
Fry says the public comment period starts Thursday, April 3rd.
"We have provided a 30 day public review period, or public comment period and ends on May 5 and comments from interested community members can be sent to the Ministry of Environment."
Once the comment period ends, the Ministry will have 7 weeks to make a decision unless they decide they need more time.
