Local comedian Greg Morton is returning to his roots in Woodstock for the CASS Comedy Night.
WOODSTOCK - Local comedian Greg Morton will be going back to his roots and performing in Woodstock tonight.
He will be hitting the stage at the CASS Comedy Night at the Oxford Auditorium.
The comedian says the Friendly City will always have a special place in his heart.
"Woodstock's been my hometown practically my whole life! I was born in Winnipeg, but I think I was only there for a matter of months, and my mother and father moved to Woodstock when I was about maybe six months old."
His performance will be part of College Avenue's Secondary School's Comedy Night event, featuring a live band and other performances.
Morton says it will be also be like a high school reunion for a lot of the audience members.
"Everybody is getting together online, and they're going like 'hey, let's hook up and we'll make it a party! We haven't seen each other in a long time!' They're using it as a chance to get together and see old classmates and friends, teachers, from all of the schools actually."
The doors will open at 6 p.m. with the show getting underway at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $30. All funds will go towards the school's football team and future musical production.
