Public Health issues another cold alert for this evening
OXFORD COUNTY - With temperatures expected to drop to -22 with the wind chill this evening, Oxford Public Health has issued another cold weather alert.
Residents of Oxford County are reminded to take precautions to protect themselves from the cold.
Over-exposure to cold may lead to complications such as frostbite, particularly in the extremities or any exposed skin, and hypothermia, which occurs when body temperature drops below 35°C, affecting the ability to think clearly and move well.
