A list of closures and cancellations for Monday February 2, 2015.
OXFORD COUNTY - A winter blast from mother nature is causing a number of delays, cancellations and closures for Monday February 2nd.
Poor road conditions forced the cancellation of all buses in Oxford, Elgin and Middlesex counties. The Thames Valley and London District Catholic School Boards have closed all of their schools for the day.
Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys and Ecole Secondaire Notre-Dame have been closed.
Woodstock Christian School cancelled their buses for the day and closed the school. Life Christian Academy is also closed.
Good Beginnings Day Nursery have closed their three locations in Woodstock, (Community Complex - Finkle Street, Oxford Gardens and Algonquin Public School) and the before and after school programs were cancelled by the school closures.
Oxford-Elgin Child & Youth Centre offices will be closed for the day.
Oxford Community Child Care programs, including the Ontario Early Years programs have been cancelled for Monday.
Little Blessings Nursery School have closed their location for the day.
Parkside Child Care Centre in Ingersoll is closed.
Fanshawe College in London is open and classes are running as scheduled however the locations in Woodstock, St Thomas, Simcoe and Clinton are cancelled for February 2nd.
Woodstock and Area Community Health Centre (WACHC) have closed their offices for the day.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Woodstock have closed their office for the morning. They may reopen in the afternoon depending on the weather conditions.
The Lawson Research Exercise and Brain study that was scheduled to take place at the Maranatha Church in Woodstock is cancelled.
Oxford County Trails Council meeting has cancelled their meeting scheduled for noon today at the Oxford County Administration Building.
Natural Health Care Clinic will be closed for the day.
Bibles for Missions is closed today
Cowan Park is closed. The indoor walking track, banquet hall and indoor pitch are closed to the public. The Woodstock Soccer Club will play this evening
City of Woodstock say the transit buses will be running today however they are experiencing a 30 minute delay for the morning and are warning of possible delays through the day.
