When Officers arrived at the Carriage Road Overpass on HWY 402 on Monday morning, they found a woman with one leg hanging over the edge.
MIDDLESEX COUNTY - First Responders in Middlesex County may have saved a life after responding to a mental health call on Monday.
OPP and paramedics rushed to the Carriage Road Overpass on Highway 402, after receiving a call about a woman with one leg hanging over the edge. Police were able to talk the woman down, as she was experiencing a mental health crisis.
OPP transported her to a Canadian Mental Health Association location within the city of London for crisis counselling.
Police are reminding the public that there are mental health services available to everyone within their communities.
