The Humane Society of London and Middlesex is currently over capacity and are staying open late tonight to find some forever homes for their furry friends.
LONDON - The Humane Society of London and Middlesex is currently over full capacity.
They also serve Oxford County. Today they are hosting a Clear the Cages event from 1-8 pm at their shelter on Clarke Road in London. Executive Director Steve Ryall says they have so many amazing animals right now, who need homes.
"Our goal is to find as many forever families as possible for the many animals (mostly cats and kittens) awaiting adoption at the shelter."
They are extending their hours today until 8:00 pm today for the adoption drive, which starts at 1:00 pm. They have some free giveaways today as well to the first 300 people who show up. The giveaways include a Ren's Pets Depot bag, including a mystery discount voucher as well as an LED dog collar or leash.
All pet adopters will receive this giveaway plus a gift certificate for a family meal for 4 at McDonald’s Restaurant.
